About these hand carved gems:To me, the shells of bugs hold the colours & patterns of places they've been: like wearing the inside of a book on your skin. From seasons to moods, I see these artworks as creatures carrying our stories on their wings. I have always loved bugs since I was a young tomboy, and now I dream of a wall covered in them, like a jewelled mosaic.
